Bliefnick murder jury selection Monday

QUINCY -- Jury selection will begin in Adams County Court Monday in the murder trial of Timothy W. Bliefnick. Bliefnick, 39, is facing charges of two counts first-degree murder and one count of home invasion. The charges stem from a February shooting death of his wife Rebecca Bliefnick. Bliefnick made a not-guilty plea on March 24 to the counts. Rebecca Bliefnick was found dead by a family member on February 23 in her home on Kentucky Road. The status check […]

Richmiller gets 40 years for sex crimes

QUINCY — Judge Timothy Wessel has sentenced a Quincy man to 40 years in prison. An Adams County jury found Tylar N. Richmiller, 27, guilty of two counts of predatory criminal sexual assault in April. He was also found guilty of four counts of criminal sexual assault. Wessel handed down two ten-year sentences for the predatory criminal sexual assaults.
