HOLMDEL, N.J. (UPI) -- New York Mets pitching legend Dwight Gooden was arrested in New Jersey last month for cocaine possession and driving under the influence, according to court documents. Gooden, 54, was pulled over in Holmdel, N.J., just before 1 a.m. EDT on June 7, a police spokesperson told the New York Post and New York Times. Yankees agree to deal with reliever Ottavino

NEW YORK (UPI) -- The New York Yankees and relief pitcher Adam Ottavino agreed to a contract on Thursday, bolstering the team's stout bullpen. Sources told The Athletic and ESPN that it's a three-year contract worth $27 million. Ottavino has a pending physical before the deal becomes official.
