Witt council appoints new treasurer in July meeting

WITT (Heartland Newsfeed) -- Just as quickly as the City of Witt lost their treasurer, a sworn-in replacement was appointed in the Witt City Council’s monthly meeting on July 24. City treasurer Rebecca Martin resigned from her position via communication with mayor Greta Akers with a formal letter of resignation presented before the council. Coalton board cleans up old business in August meeting

COALTON (Heartland Newsfeed) -- While there was limited business discussed in their August 8 meeting, the Coalton Village Board did spent most of their 37-minute session touching up on previously discussed items of business. Employee handbook, water issues among business in Witt council’s June meeting

WITT (Heartland Newsfeed) -- Updates were finally made to the employee handbook among other items of business in the Witt City Council’s meeting on June 26. Changes were made to the handbook during the special meeting earlier in the month with Mayor Greta Akers noting that the proposed changes were submitted to Chris Sherer for evaluation.
