Half Witt Winery to mark second year this weekend

Half Witt Winery is celebrating its second anniversary in business this Labor Day weekend. David and Gail Bradshaw opened the establishment on August 24, 2019, offering seven of their award-winning wines. Witt discusses water updates, legal action in August meeting

Water was the common theme of discussion during the Witt City Council’s meeting on Tuesday, Aug. 24. Alderman Tim Taylor presented the water report, informing the council that the altitude valve feeding Irving’s water supply has broken. While the Rotary eClub of Central Illinois has been an officially recognized club since June 29, the club held its charter recognition ceremony Tuesday night, August 24 at Opera House Brewing Company in Hillsboro and for those unable to attend via Zoom.
