TAYLORVILLE -- According to Christian County Sheriff Bruce Kettelkamp, their jail is out-of-date and needs urgent improvements. The Christian County Correctional Center was built in 1977. It marks its 45th anniversary this year. The center also serves as the base of operations for the Christian County Sheriff's Department. TAYLORVILLE -- An internal investigation has resulted in the arrest of a Taylorville High School employee for drug use. Officials from Taylorville Police Department and district administrators started an investigation two weeks ago.
