Nokomis Historical Society to resume
NOKOMIS -- After a hiatus of several years, the Nokomis Historical Society is once again starting up. According to former president JoAnn Keele, the Society was started in 1992 by herself and Ken Wiseman with the intent to collect and preserve Nokomis' history. In its original format, the group had 20 members with a passion and love for hometown history.
