NOKOMIS -- The Greater Nokomis Chamber of Commerce held a quick meeting in its final meeting as an organization on Wednesday, March 12 inside the Nokomis CUSD #22 unit office at Nokomis High School. NOKOMIS -- After a hiatus of several years, the Nokomis Historical Society is once again starting up. According to former president JoAnn Keele, the Society was started in 1992 by herself and Ken Wiseman with the intent to collect and preserve Nokomis' history. Nokomis council considers tree replacement at Johnson Park

NOKOMIS -- Two trees that have recently been cut down in Johnson Park in downtown Nokomis is being considered for replacement. The Nokomis City Council discussed the replacement during its regular meeting on Monday, Apr. 10.
