Relocated NAHL team suspends operations for 2020-21 season

SHAWNEE, Kan. -- A second team in the North American Hockey League (NAHL) is opting to sit out the 2020-21 season. This comes from a joint press release Wednesday from the NAHL and the Kansas City Scouts. St. Louis Blues’ Vladimir Tarasenko undergoes knee surgery

ST. LOUIS (UPI) -- St. Louis Blues forward Vladimir Tarasenko underwent arthroscopic surgery on his left knee, the team announced Tuesday. The Blues said the procedure was successful and the forward will be re-evaluated in four weeks. Tarasenko, 27, played in 76 regular-season games and recorded 68 points (33 goals, 35 assists) this season. The 33 scores marked the fifth consecutive 30-goal season for the forward.
