Carlinville shooting suspect in jail
CARLINVILLE -- Law enforcement authorities have captured a suspect with links to a shooting Wednesday night in Carlinville. Carlinville Police Department responded to the 1000 block of Johnson Street where a man was reported shot. 37-year-old Dana Morgan Jr. would receive life-saving treatment at the scene. Morgan would later die at Carlinville Area Hospital. Witnesses to the shooting also noted that Blackburn College was under a hard lockdown after the incident.
