Eye of the Tiger basketball league to begin play next week

TOWER HILL -- While schools might not be holding winter sports due to newer COVID-19 mitigations, basketball fans can still get their fix. Beginning Monday, Nov. 30, the Eye of the Tiger Sports Complex in Tower Hill is launching their own basketball league. Groups participating are from throughout the region, from Mt. Illinois only Midwestern state with no high school football

BLOOMINGTON -- Illinois and 15 other states are foregoing playing high school football this fall. Instead, they're electing to postpone the season to the spring of 2021, due to COVID-19. Michigan high school football reinstated, begins play September 18

LANSING, Mich. -- Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer has issued an executive order which will allow the high school football to begin in two weeks' time. In addition to football, sports including volleyball, boys soccer, and girls swimming and diving will also be able to begin. Whitmer indicates that the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services have made the designation as possible.
