HARDIN -- Calhoun High School senior Delani Klaas will continue her volleyball career as a Lady Blue. The former Brussels product decided to continue her career at Illinois College in Jacksonville at a signing event this week. Klass was instrumental in Calhoun's volleyball squad in attaining a school record for wins. Klaas' career has a long list of impressive accomplishments in three seasons. WARRENTON -- The Warrenton Warriors overcame an early deficit to earn their sixth consecutive win to start the season.  Warrenton took a 14-point lead at home heading into halftime. NOKOMIS -- For the past two seasons, the Nokomis football team was independent following the dissolution of the Prairie State Conference. This season is different due to being accepted into the Lincoln Prairie Conference. SHELBYVILLE -- Friday night football under the lights will become a little different beginning in 2024 for the Shelbyville Rams. Their Central Illinois Conference (CIC) is merging with the Heart of Illinois Conference (HoIC) starting with the 2024-25 academic year. This merger applies to football only.
