Nobody, formerly known as Rich Paul, de-platformed from Twitter over hyperbolic Clinton remark

KEENE, N.H. (Heartland Newsfeed) — A Republican candidate for governor in New Hampshire was permanently de-platformed from Twitter Sunday following an obvious hyperbolic tweet made on the platform.

Candidate Nobody (formerly known as Rich Paul) responded to remarks that Karen Lytle (@karenlytle711) made in response to a tweet made by Michigan Congressman Justin Amash.

Nobody responded with the following, which was met with hostility by Twitter’s “crack team” of snitches:

@karenlytle711 @justinamash It’s not #misogyny. I hate Bill just as much as I hate Hillary. They are both warmongering criminals who should be hung, drawn, and quartered.

Nobody would later receive an email from Twitter, citing that his account has been permanently suspended for allegedly “violating our rules against abuse and harassment.” The suspension, as allegedly cited by Twitter, is on the grounds that “you may not engage in the targeted harassment of someone, or incite other people to do so. This includes wishing or hoping that someone experiences physical harm. Note that if you attempt to evade a permanent suspension by creating new accounts, we will suspend your new accounts. If you wish to appeal this suspension, please contact our support team.”

The occasional Free Talk Live co-host neither received a warning nor a temporary ban, but rather a permanent account suspension, which is considered a much stricter punishment compared to the platform’s previous actions on other personalities in the news/talk media.

While Nobody attempted to appeal the suspension, Twitter rejected the appeal in 30 seconds, stating the account has been suspended and will not be restored, citing an alleged violation of their terms of service.

When Free Talk Live host Ian Freeman interviewed Nobody about the suspension, he called his comment hyperbolic and agreed that he does not actually wish violence upon anyone. However, he believes many people share his frustration with the criminal behavior of politicians. This may come under the presumption that social media is trying to control political debate by eliminating political candidates and public figures with viewpoints the platform doesn’t like based on subjective and arbitrary criterium.

Nobody added that it may have not helped that his remark was made in defense of Democratic hopeful Tulsi Gabbard, who had recently ran afoul on the “queen of warmongers”, Hillary Rodham Clinton.
