CARLINVILLE — The 2024 Blackburn College women’s soccer schedule has been released and features seven home matches while their opponents combined to win 80 total matches last season.
The Beavers begin the season at Rockford University on Friday, August 30. They then visit Faith Baptist Bible College on Monday, September 2.
On Friday, September 6, Blackburn returns to campus for the first of a three-match home stand, starting with the University of Health Sciences and Pharmacy. The team then takes on Illinois College on Tuesday, September 10 and Stephens College on Friday, September 13.
After a week from action, the Beavers head to Wisconsin and will visit Maranatha Baptist University on Friday, September 20 before visiting Mount Mary University on Sunday, September 22.
St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference action kicks on Saturday, September 28 when the squad hosts Westminster College during Homecoming Weekend.
October gets going with a home match against Mississippi University for Women on Thursday, October 3.
Blackburn follows it with three straight road matches. Saturday, October 5 sees the Beavers visit Spalding University before heading to Principia College on Tuesday, October 8. The road trip concludes on Saturday, October 12 at Lyon College.
The final home match of the season sees Blackburn host Webster University on Wednesday, October 16. The final two matches feature the Beavers visiting Greenville on Saturday, October 26 and conclude at Eureka College on Wednesday, October 30.
Coming off a season that finished with the program’s best-winning percentage since the 2011 season, the future looks promising.
