ROH TV IS BACK: Spoilers for February 25, 2023 tapings

After going off the air for the final time on April 15, 2022, Ring of Honor Wrestling has lingered on the minds of loyal ROH fans as to when it would return to their screens.

Production and taping for the revived show under the Tony Khan era started Saturday at Universal Studios in Orlando. The facility will serve as a regular home for ROH’s television programming going forward, or at least until they feel like starting a touring schedule, returning to their home base occasionally.

While ROH awaiting a broadcast deal, Ring of Honor Wrestling returns on Thursday, March 2, airing on the relaunched HonorClub streaming platform, which is also available on FITE.

ROH TV spoilers for March 2 (and potentially March 9)

The following are results from those tapings:

  • Mark Briscoe def. Slim J
  • The Kingdom (Matt Taven and Mike Bennett w/ Maria Kanellis) def. The Infantry (Shawn Dean and Charlie Bravo)
  • NJPW World TV Championship: Zack Sabre Jr. (c) def. Blake Christian
  • Christopher Daniels def. Rohit Raju
  • Konosuke Takeshita def. Josh Woods
  • The Embassy (Brian Cage, Kaun, and Toa Liona) def. Joe Keys, Rex Lawless, and Leon St. Giovanni
  • Ari Daivari def. Mascara Dorada
  • PROMO: Wheeler Yuta was interviewed by Ian Riccaboni. Wheeler issues an open challenge, Timothy Thatcher answers that. A match is made for the future.
  • Willow Nightingale def. Lady Frost
  • PROMO: Willow is interviewed by Ian Riccaboni. She calls out Athena. Athena answers the calls.
  • ROH World Championship: Claudio Castagnoli (c) def. AR Fox
  • POST-MATCH: After the match, Eddie Kingston came out to confront Claudio and made his intentions clear, he wants the ROH World Title.
  • ROH Television Championship: Samoa Joe (c) def. Tony Deppen
  • POST-MATCH: After the match, Samoa Joe issued an open challenge. Mark Briscoe answers.
  • Dalton Castle and The Boys def. Marcus Kross, Cody Chhun, and Guillermo Rosas
  • La Faccion Ingobernable (Rush and Dralistico) def. SAP (Serpentico and Angelico)
  • Trish Adora def. Billie Starkz
  • Trustbusters (Ari Daivari and Slim J) def. Manscout and Jake Crist
  • PROMO: Ari brags about his victory over Mascara Dorada, who comes out to confront Daivari. Slim J and Ari jump Dorada, and Blake Christian makes the save with a chair.
  • ROH Pure Championship: Wheeler Yuta (c) def. Timothy Thatcher. Christopher Daniels, BJ Whitmer, and Colt Cabana were judges.
  • POST-MATCH: After the match, Wheeler calls out the NJPW LA Dojo, and Clark Connors confronts Yuta.
  • Aussie Open (Kyle Fletcher & Mark Davis) def. Tracy Williams and Rhett Titus
  • Eddie Kingston def. Jon Cruz
  • POST-MATCH: Eddie Kingston cuts a post-match promo, demanding a shot at Claudio Castagnoli’s ROH World Title. Claudio appears and says, “A man without honor will never be ROH Champion.”
  • ROH Women’s World Championship: Athena (c) def. Willow Nightingale

No further details if these recordings were for one episode only

A significant amount of matches were recorded Saturday, but it is currently undetermined how many matches will air this Thursday to kick off its new era of Ring of Honor Wrestling on HonorClub.

What was confirmed as of press time was the Briscoe and Castagnoli matches being part of the first broadcast for the revived program.
