Nokomis men’s bowling league scores: September 17, 2020

NOKOMIS — There would be a slight reshuffling of the league standings at the end of the second week of bowling in Town Pump Bowl’s men’s bowling league on September 17.

All teams would have their victories and failures this week as the standings shuffle.

It was not a good night for one of the top three from opening week. Kamer’s Kove (3-1) would lose all four points this week, falling to 3-5 and a tie for fifth.

Globo Gym Purple Cobras (3-1) did not have a great night either, earning only one win on the night. They fall to 4-4, tied for third.

However, Pocket Pounders (3-1) would net two wins on the night, extending their season record to 5-3, tied for first.

Two teams from the bottom of the board last week would score wins. However, only one of those teams didn’t quite get off the bottom of the board.

Dirks Auto Care LLC (1-3) would score all four points on the night, rising from the bottom of the standings to the top, tied for first.

The same is true for host Town Pump Bowl (1-3). A 3-1 mark on the night would level things out at 4-4 for the season.

The only team remaining on the bottom half is Taylor Trucking (1-3), who only finished the night 2-2, remaining tied for fifth at 3-5.

The week’s bowling faceoffs

Taylor Trucking would face off against Dirks Auto Care LLC on lanes 1 and 2.

Pocket Pounders would face off against Town Pump Bowl on lanes 3 and 4.

Kamer’s Kove would face off against Globo Gym Purple Cobras on lanes 5 and 6.

Considering this is the kickoff week of the 2020-21 season, only the top scores of the week will be posted. All subsequent weeks will include season-high scores.
