The 2019 Chicago Ultimate Women’s Expo is the long-running expo that puts a spotlight on women’s empowerment, following your passions, and re-igniting your inner you. From October 5–6, the expo will turn Chicago’s Donald E. Stephens Convention Center into over 160,000 square feet of shopping experiences, motivating keynote speakers, seminars connecting women with great resources and information, amazing food, and tons of fun.
You can expect to find fabulous shopping spread across hundreds of pop-up shops offering everything from art and jewelry to textiles and home décor. There will be artisan experts on hand to teach you about their wares, as well.
Some of the other indulgent events that will make you feel like your best self include hourly fashion shows, a hair makeover stage, massage pavilion with complimentary massages, floral design stage, burn boot camp fitness stage, jewelry making workshop, complimentary manicures, craft workshops, and much, much more.
This expo’s keynote speakers and seminar speakers are heavy-hitting A-list celebrities, singers, athletes, and other extremely noteworthy individuals. Attendees will be treated to the likes of Lisa Vanderpump, Brandy, Monica, Wynonna Judd, Sandra Lee, Tatum O’Neil, Amy Grant, Mo’Nique, Dr. Heavenly Kimes, MC Lyte, Tori Spelling, Kellis, Ricki Lake and Susan Lucci.
Admittance to the expo is only $10. If you buy more than one ticket at a time you can even get a substantial discount as high as 50 percent.
Finding a place to stay
Finding lodging near the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center is very easy as there is a long list of reputable hotels in the direct area.
One of the most noteworthy hotels nearby is the Hyatt Regency O’Hare. Located directly near the convention center, the Hyatt Regency is as comfortable as it gets. The hotel complex is absolutely stunning, as well as massive. Rooms range from small studios to huge luxury suites. Click here to see what they can offer you.
Loews Chicago O’Hare Hotel is another great option that’s close to the convention center. Deluxe rooms, complimentary Wi-Fi in the lobby, and an on-site restaurant, The Ashburn, that’s its own Chicago destination in itself all go toward making the Loews Chicago a good choice.
Getting to and from the convention center is easy. In fact, O’Hare International Airport is nearly within walking distance from the expo location. Shuttles run from surrounding hotels and the airport itself to the expo venue. Fetching a taxi or Uber car is also a breeze in this area.
If you will be driving yourself to the event, then be aware that there are tons of parking at the convention center. Just drive north on Highway 294 if you’re coming from south Chicago, or come down Highway 294 South if you are coming from north Chicago. Traffic can be a little heavy once you get near the airport, so be sure that you are familiar with driving in such conditions.
