DuQUOIN (Heartland Newsfeed) — MTV Video Music Award (VMA) winners and chart-toppers The All-American Rejects are set to play at the DuQuoin State Fair on Saturday, August 24, according to a news release Monday.

The band known for hits as “Move Along”, “Gives You Hell” and “Dirty Little Secret” won two MTV VMA awards for best group video in the 20-year history of the Stillwater, Okla.-based group.

Their breakthrough self-titled album in 2001 launched them into the mainstream upon reaching platinum and cementing their status as a top pop-rock band with singles regularly appearing on the Billboard charts. Their 2005 sophomore album Move Along reached double platinum status, generating three singles hitting the Billboard Top 15.

Tickets are available for all grandstand concerts, including this concert, which prices them at $30 for Tier 1, $27 for Tier 2 and $24 for Tier 3 seating.

The DuQuoin State Fair runs from August 23 through September 2, with this year’s admission to the fair being free. More details on this and other concerts may be found on the fair’s website.
