Snoop Dogg to headline Illinois State Fair

SPRINGFIELD (Illinois News Network) — Snoop Dogg will perform August 16 on the grandstand stage during the 2019 Illinois State Fair.

Snoop Dogg, an award-winning musician and entertainer, joins headliners Pentatonix, an acapella group, and Dan + Shay, a country duo.

The 2019 Illinois State Fair runs from August 8-18 in Springfield. Tickets for Snoop Dogg’s performance range from $25 to $55. Tickets for grandstand concerts go on sale this spring.

Snoop Dogg has put out 17 studio albums and sold more than 35 million albums since 1993. His 2018 album Snoop Dogg Presents Bible of Love debuted at number 1 on the Billboard charts. It was his first gospel offering. The entertainer also is known for his philanthropic efforts, acting and love of marijuana.
