SUN CITY, Calif. (UPI) — At least one winning Powerball ticket worth an estimated $447.8 million was sold in California, the seventh largest jackpot in U.S. lottery history.
Lottery officials said one winning ticket was sold in Riverside County, though it’s not clear if more than one ticket matched all five numbers plus the Powerball.
Saturday’s winning numbers were 20, 26, 32, 38 and 58 with a Powerball of 3.
“We will not know who California’s latest Powerball winner is until at least Monday morning at 8 a.m. That’s the soonest they’ll be able to claim their prize,” California Lottery said in a statement. “Whoever the winner turns out to be will now have the option of taking the entire $447.8 million spread out over 30 years, or they can elect to take the lump sum amount of $279.1 million.”
The retailer that sold the winning ticket in Southern California, Marietta Liquor & Deli, will receive a $1 million bonus.
The odds of winning the Powerball jackpot are one in 292 million. The last time anyone won the jackpot was April 1.
