Illinois Secretary of State offices closed for Labor Day holiday

SPRINGFIELD (Heartland Newsfeed) — Illinois Secretary of State Jesse White announced Monday that all offices and facilities will be closing for the Labor Day holiday. Offices and driver services facilities open Monday through Friday will be closed on Labor Day, September 4, while the same offices and facilities open Tuesday through Saturday will be closed Saturday, September 2 in observance of the holiday.

All offices and facilities will resume regular business on Tuesday, September 5.

White would like to remind Illinois residents that they can visit the Secretary of State’s website to locate their nearest driver services facility and their hours of operation. Additionally, they can also change their address, register to become an organ and/or tissue donor or renew their license plate stickers and registration online.
